The Mayor Pro Tempore called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. 'The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 24, 1975 were approved on motion of Mr. Sutton and second of Mr. Cunningham. I The Minutes of the Special Meeting held March 3, 1975 were approved on motion of Mr. Cun~ingham and second of Mr. Hansen. Mr. Breihan opened a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance. The City Manager summarized the content of the amendment, previously discussed at the Regular Meeting of February 24, 1975. There were no connnents from the public. Mr. Breihan closed the hearing and asked for the reading of the caption of the Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, CODIFIED AS APPENDIX C IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BY DELETING SUBSECTION 2-B OF SECTION I, ENTITLED "LOTS", OF ARTICLE 7, ENTITLED "SUBDIVISION DESIGN REQUIREMENTS", AND ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION 2-B THERETO PROVIDING FOR MINIMIDl LOT REQUIREMENT FOR TOWNHOUSES, REQUIRING OPEN SPACE, AND ESTABLISHING OTHER LOT CRITERIA. Mr, Sutton moved approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Breihan opened a Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance authorizing the placement of experimental traffic control devices for ninety-day periods. No objections were presented to the proposed ordinance: Mr. Breihan closed the hearing and directed the reading of the caption of the ordinance as follows: I AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 ENTITLED "TRAFFIC", ARTICLE V, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES", BY ADDING NEW SECTIONS NUMBERED 29-156. "AUTHORITY OF CHIEF OF POLICE TO MAKE TEMPORARY REGULATIONS; EXPERIMENTAL REGULATIONS", AND 29-157 ' "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE TESTS". Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Cunningham seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
