Arredondo; Sylvia Corrubias; <br />Wynette Barton; Dr. Ardelia Brennan; Shirley Wickersham; Stanley <br />Hughson; Sannnie Hardeman; Jim Cunningham; Mr. '9< Mrs. Terry Roberts; <br />Juan Palomo; and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro Tempore called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />'The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 24, 1975 were approved on motion <br />of Mr. Sutton and second of Mr. Cunningham. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting held March 3, 1975 were approved on motion <br />of Mr. Cun~ingham and second of Mr. Hansen. <br /> <br />Mr. Breihan opened a Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the Subdivision <br />Ordinance. The City Manager summarized the content of the amendment, previously <br />discussed at the Regular Meeting of February 24, 1975. There were no connnents from <br />the public. Mr. Breihan closed the hearing and asked for the reading of the caption <br />of the Ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT CERTAIN ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE SUBDIVISION <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, CODIFIED AS APPENDIX C IN THE <br />CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BY DELETING SUBSECTION <br />2-B OF SECTION I, ENTITLED "LOTS", OF ARTICLE 7, ENTITLED "SUBDIVISION <br />DESIGN REQUIREMENTS", AND ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION 2-B THERETO PROVIDING FOR <br />MINIMIDl LOT REQUIREMENT FOR TOWNHOUSES, REQUIRING OPEN SPACE, AND ESTABLISHING <br />OTHER LOT CRITERIA. <br /> <br />Mr, Sutton moved approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Cunningham seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Breihan opened a Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance authorizing the <br />placement of experimental traffic control devices for ninety-day periods. No <br />objections were presented to the proposed ordinance: Mr. Breihan closed the hearing <br />and directed the reading of the caption of the ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 <br />ENTITLED "TRAFFIC", ARTICLE V, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES", BY <br />ADDING NEW SECTIONS NUMBERED 29-156. "AUTHORITY OF CHIEF OF POLICE TO <br />MAKE TEMPORARY REGULATIONS; EXPERIMENTAL REGULATIONS", AND 29-157 ' <br />"TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICE TESTS". <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Cunningham <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
