<br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held March 10, 1975, we~e approveq,on motion
<br />of Mr. Hansen, and second of Mr. Sutton.

<br />Mr. Sutton moved approval of a request for a temporary permit for a mobile home
<br />to be located on Lots 276 and 277, Block 26 of the Westover Addition, Hazleton
<br />Street by Mr. Nickolas Gomez. Mr. Cun~ingham seconded the motion, which passed
<br />unanimously. Mr. Cunningham requested a discussion in the near future regarding
<br />the ordinance prohibiting issuance of such a permit in the presence of a single
<br />objection from an adjacent property owner.
<br />
<br />Mr. Hansen moved approval of a temporary permit for Mr. Santos Duran to place a
<br />mobile home on Lots 87 and 88, Block 10 of the Westover Addition, corner of
<br />Delmar and Amherst streets. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />The Mayor introduced an Ordinance and read its caption as follows:

<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OJ THE
<br />CODE OF ORDINANCES, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC", BY ADDING TO ARTICLE IV, ENT1TLED
<br />"OPERATION OF VEHICLES GENERALLY" A NEW SECTION NUMBERED 29-99, ENTITLED "ONE
<br />WAY STREETS AND ALLEYS", ESTABLISHING DIRECTIONAL TRAFFIC IN ONE DIRECTION ON
<br />ENUMERATED STREETS; BY ADDING TO ARTICLE V, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES",
<br />NEW SECTIONS NUMBERED 29-118, 29-119, AND 29-120, ENTITLED "YIELD SIGNS",
<br />"STOP SIGNS", AND "NO PARKING ANYTIME", RESPECTIVELY, ESTABLISHING THOSE
<br />INTERSECTIONS TO BE CONTROLLED BY YEILD SIGNS AND STOP SIGNS AND AREAS ALONG
<br />PUBLIC STREETS WHERE CURB PARKING IS PROHIBITED; BY ADDING TO ARTICLE IV,
<br />ENTITLED "SPEED REGULATIONS", NEW SECTIONS NUMBERED 29-139 AND 29-131, ENTITLED
<br />"DECREASED SPEED LIMITS" AND "INCREASED SPEED LIMITS", RESPECTIVELY, BY
<br />DESIGNATING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF ENUMERATED STREETS FOR SAID DECREASED AND
<br />INCREASED SPEED LIMITS; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

<br />Mr. Hansen moved the Ordinance b~ Passed, Approved and Adopted. Mr. Flores
<br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

<br />The Mayor read the caption of a',Resolution as follows:

<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING
<br />THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO EXECUTE A CONVEYANCE OF TRUST
<br />TO HAYS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, PERTAINING TO A PARCEL OF
<br />REAL PROPERTY IDENTIFIED AS PART OF LOT M, BLOCK 4, B.W. BREEDING ADDITION,
<br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS.
<br />
<br />Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion, which
<br />passed unanimously.
