17 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APRIL 28, 1975 Present: Mayor Emmie Craddock Councilmen Frank T. Arredondo Ted Breihan Bill Dibrell Luciano H. Flores John Hansen Kenneth E. Sutton I City Manager City Secretary City Attorney Director of Finance Director of Public Works James B. Baugh Doriss Hambrick Tom Akins Earl T. Williams William T. Friedrich Also present: R.J. Pollard; Rose Brooks; Jim Broussard; Albert Aranda; Joe Garcia; Sylvia Garza; Amelia Cruz; Mary Castaneda; Richard Santellana; Mrs. Richard Bowles; Mrs. Raymond Kiddoo; Dr. A. Hiebert; Mrs. Jack Eure; B.F. Davidson; Albert Wlaker, Jr.; Rosalio Tobias; Albert Sierra; Mrs. Oscar Dorsey; George Vandervort; George Gilbert; Allen Gill; Joe Gafford; Gilbert Tenorio; Melissa Millecam; Jerri Martin; Terry Roberts; and others. The Mayor called the meeting t.O order at 7: 30 p.m. Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 14, 1975. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. Mr. Breihan requested the Minutes be amended to delete the last sentence of paragraph 12, page three. The Minutes were unanimously approved, as amended. I Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Minutes of the Special Meeting held April 21, 1975. Mr. Breihan seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock issued Proclamations in observance of National Music Week, National Hospital Week and Cinco de Mayo. The Mayor introduced the nominees for appointment to the. Housing Authority Board: R.J. Pollard, Rose Brooks, Jim Broussard, Albert Aranda, Jr., Joe Garcia, Jr., and Sylvia Garza. Dr; Craddock also informed the Council that only two vacancies on the Board existed instead of the three previously reported. Resignations have been received from Mrs. Diane Elder and Mr. Jack Harper. Councilman Arredondo announced that he had discussed this matter with the three persons he had nominated and that Mr. Joe Garcia, Jr. had agreed to withdraw.his name from consideration. On roll call, Councilmen voted for two nominees as follows: ARREDONDO: BREIHAN: DIBRELL: CRADDOCK: FLORES: HANSEN : SUTTON: Brooks, Aranda P\\llard, Brooks Pollard, Broussard Brooks, Broussard Brooks, Broussard Brooks, Broussard Pollard, Garza Mrs. Brooks and Mr. Broussard were declared appointed to the Housing Authority Board. I Mayor Craddock introduced the nominees for the one vacancy existing on the Planning and Zoning Commission: Richard Santellana and Sannnie L.C. Hardeman. Councilmen voted for one nominee by roll call as follows: ARREDONDO: BREIHAN: DIBRELL: CRADDOCK: FLORES: HANSEN: SUTTON: Santellana Hardeman Hardeman .:' Ssntellana Santellana Santellana Hardeman Mr. Santellana was declared appointed to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
