<br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 28, 1975, were approved on motion of
<br />Mr. Sutton and second of Mr. Hansen.

<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the appointment of three regular members
<br />to the Board of Equalization and two alternate members. Nominees were introduced as
<br />follows: David Dailey, Leonard Fielder, Eddy Etheredge, Pete Rodriguez, Herschel
<br />Walling, John Fitch, and Rudy Villalpando. Council members voted, by roll call, for
<br />three regular members as follows:

<br />DAILEY: Breihan, Dibrell, Sutton
<br />FIELDER: Arredondo, Breihan, Dibrell, Craddock, Flores, Hansen, Sutton
<br />RODRIGUEZ: Arredondo, Craddock, Flores, Hansen, Sutton
<br />ETHEREDGE: Arredondo, Breihan, Dibrell, Craddo~k, Flores, Hansen.
<br />
<br />Mr. Fielder, Mr. Rodriguez, and Mr. Etheredge were declared appointed regular members.

<br />The Council next voted for alternate members as follows:

<br />WALLING: Craddock, Hansen, Sutton
<br />VILLALPANDO: Arredondo, Flores
<br />FITCH: Arredondo, Breihan, Dibrell, Craddock, Flores, Hansen
<br />DAILEY: Breihan, Dibrell, Sutton.

<br />Dr. Fitch was declared appointed alternate members. To break the ~ie vot"between
<br />Dr. Walling and Mr. Dailey; the Council voted as follows:

<br />Dr. Walling was declared appointed alternate Board of Equalization Member.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced appointments to the Bicentennial Commission for confirmation
<br />by the Council: Major Ben Bowles, Dr. Robert Stevenson, Mrs. Ben McCollum, and
<br />Ms. Therese Barrios. Mr. Breihan moved the appointments be confirmed. Mr. Hansen
<br />seconded the motion. Mr. Sutton read the list of the Bicentennial Commission member-
<br />ship and pointed out that the Commission was not composed of a proper representation
<br />of San Marcos citizens. Dr. Craddock and Mr. Flores emphasized that the persons
<br />appointed to the Commission were those who had indicated interest in the program and
<br />had donated much time to the activities. On roll call, the motion to confirm the
<br />appointments was unanimously approved.
