MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APRIL 13, 1981 <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Pro-Tem <br /> <br />John J. Green, <br />Charles Hanes, Ann Echols, Kenneth Sutton, Anna Farr, James Harrison, <br />Bobby Kenser, Rodney Ruiz, Kelly Kilber, 5 Students from San Marcos <br />High School Civics Class, Terry Lighthouse, Shirley Wickersham, Pud <br />Rutledge, Robert McDonald, Joel Bernard, Bridgette Alexander, Charles <br />Evans, Jake Krauskopf and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor Pro-Tem called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the regular meeting held March 23, 1981. Mrs. Norris moved to approve <br />the minutes and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimous- <br />ly. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the emergency meeting held March 25, 1981. Mrs. Norris moved to ap- <br />prove the minutes and Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the special meeting held March 30, 1981. Mr. Brown moved to approve <br />the minutes and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of <br />the special emergency meeting held April 2, 1981. Mr. Cavazos moved <br />to approve the minutes and Mr. James seconded the motion. On roll <br />call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Cavazos, James, Stokes and Tarbutton. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: Norris. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration approval of the final plans <br />regarding Victory Gardens Phase III, as prepared by Kelly Kilber. <br />Mr. Cavazos moved to approve the plans and Mr. James seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr, Stokes introduced for considerati~on approval to authorize bidding <br />on sixty (_6Q) refu~e, containers. Mr. Brown moved to appr~e the author- <br />ization of bidding and Mr. James seconded the motion, which unanimously <br />passed. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes introduced for consideration approval to authorize bidding <br />on four, 1/2-ton pickup trucks. Mrs. Norris moved to approve the <br />authorization of bidding and Mr. James seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. It was discussed that the Council would like to <br />have the option not to approve that the vehicles be air conditioned. <br /> <br /> <br />
