<br />/74 !d <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING HELD ON MARCH 8. 1960 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />'On the 8th day of March, 1960, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. the Governing <br />Body of the City of San Marcos met in regular session, at the City <br />Hall, Mayor C. M. Allen presiding: <br /> <br />Present: Mayor C. M. Allen <br />Alderman: ~. R. Beecroft <br />W. M. Davis <br />B. D. Hillburn <br />He;rman Korff <br />James Tuttle <br />City Manager B. R. Fuller <br />City Secretary Judy Brackett <br />Mrs. Roland Manske, Women's Club <br />Guests: Mr. G. Herbert Fleenor <br />, Mr. Marvin C. 'Midkiff <br />Judge C. M. Decker <br />Mr. Eugene Posey <br /> <br />The minutes of the previous meeting ~ere approved. <br /> <br />Alderman Tuttle introduced an ordinance entitiled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE PLAT <br />AND DEED OF DEDICATION OF "::;PRINGLAKE HILL::>, <br />FOURTH UNIT", A PART OF THE 'T. J. CHJiMBERS liURVEY <br />IN HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, PARTLY WITHIN AND PARTLY <br />WITHOUT THE CITY LIMITS OF THIS CITY. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The ordinance was read in full and Alderman Tuttle moved its <br />adoption. The motion was seconded by Alderman Hillburn. Upon roll <br />call the ayes and nays were as follows: <br /> <br />AYES: . <br /> <br />Alderman Beecroft <br />Davis <br />Hi llburn <br />Korff <br />Tuttle <br /> <br />NAYS: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Whereupon M~yor Allen declared the ordipance adopted. <br /> <br />The Council' approved the LCRA'~ estima~e of $237.75 to provide the <br />electrical facil'ities for the "trailerites" ,during their stay in the <br />recreation park.' The Council agreed also, to the City Manager's <br />recommended "cha'rge per day" for trailers us'ing the park facilities. <br />The charge for parking (including water, electricity, use of building) <br />will be $1100 and the sewer charge wil~ be $0.25. <br /> <br />The Council acknOWledged receipt of executed lease on the area <br />and authorized the City Manager to proceed with the City's part of the <br />work to clear the area for construction of the ART Center. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The next item on the agenda was Mr. Geo. K. Cathey's letter of <br />request that the City favor residents on Blanco Road by studying and <br />reviewing their situation to see what could be done about installing <br />a city sewer line. Mr. Fuller suggested that this project be included <br />in the City"~ "5 year planning program". This was agreed upon by the <br />Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Dudley Williamson and Fred Muellar have contacted the City <br />Manager requesting the city take over the garbage collection in Oak <br />Heights Addition. In view of complications with a private collector, <br />the Council agreed that residents in this area Should petition to be <br />annexed to the city; Whereby, this service will be available to them. <br />
