//1 f/ REGULAR ~~ETING HELD ON JANUARY 10. 1961 On the lOth day of January 1961, at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos met in re9ular session in the City Hall, Mayor C. M. Allen presiding. I Present: Mayor Aldermen: Ci ty Ma nage r City Secretary C, M. Allen S. R. Beecroft B. D. Hillburn , Herman Korff James Tuttle B. R. Fuller Judy B. Brackett Guests: Ross Arnold Weldon Palzin Wm. P. Estes, Jr. Torn Buckner - RECORD The minutes of the meetings of December 13, 1960 and January 4, 1961 were read and approved, The first item of business was consideration of a proposed subdivision known as the Holt-Horton Subdivision, adjacent to the Greendale Addition. In the absence of a representative from the subdivider, no action was taken on the matter. The Mayor advised representatives from the land owners in the area that they would be notified when the matter would be considered hy the Council. I A letter from Mr. Mostyn, operator of Wonder Cave, for improved water pressure was discussed. The City Manager was instructed to contact Mr. Mostyn and determine the exact require- ments to provide the required pressure. In the event a larger line is required, the City Manager was authorized to install a 6" line from Belvin Street northward approximately 600 feet on Veramendi Street. The City Manager was also authorized to arrange for Wonder Cave to extend their service line to connect to the sewer line on Veramendi Street. The City Manager presented preliminary plans for providing sewer collecting lines to College Courts, Highland Terrace and ,Holland Heights at an estimated cost of $60,000 to be completed over a two-year period, and a plan for sewer lines to the Wallace Addition and a trunk line to the main lift station from that area at an estimated cost of $17,000. Alderman Tuttle made a motion that the City Manager proceed with final plans for the construction of these two projects. This motion was seconded by Alderman Korff and upon roll call the motion carried unanimously. Alderman Tuttle introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption. The ordinance is entitled: AN ORDINANC~ REGULATING PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON PORTIONS OF RANCH ROAD NO. 12 I The ordinance waS read in full and Alderman Korff seconded the motion of adoption. Upon roll call the ayes and nayes were as follows: AYES: Aldermen-Beecroft, Hillburn, Korff and Tuttle NAYES: None Whereupon Mayor Allen declared the ordinance passed, approved and adopted,
