Estes, Jr. <br />Torn Buckner - RECORD <br /> <br />The minutes of the meetings of December 13, 1960 and <br />January 4, 1961 were read and approved, <br /> <br />The first item of business was consideration of a <br />proposed subdivision known as the Holt-Horton Subdivision, adjacent <br />to the Greendale Addition. In the absence of a representative from <br />the subdivider, no action was taken on the matter. The Mayor <br />advised representatives from the land owners in the area that they <br />would be notified when the matter would be considered hy the Council. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A letter from Mr. Mostyn, operator of Wonder Cave, for <br />improved water pressure was discussed. The City Manager was <br />instructed to contact Mr. Mostyn and determine the exact require- <br />ments to provide the required pressure. In the event a larger line <br />is required, the City Manager was authorized to install a 6" line <br />from Belvin Street northward approximately 600 feet on Veramendi <br />Street. The City Manager was also authorized to arrange for Wonder <br />Cave to extend their service line to connect to the sewer line on <br />Veramendi Street. <br /> <br />The City Manager presented preliminary plans for providing <br />sewer collecting lines to College Courts, Highland Terrace and <br />,Holland Heights at an estimated cost of $60,000 to be completed <br />over a two-year period, and a plan for sewer lines to the Wallace <br />Addition and a trunk line to the main lift station from that area <br />at an estimated cost of $17,000. Alderman Tuttle made a motion <br />that the City Manager proceed with final plans for the construction <br />of these two projects. This motion was seconded by Alderman Korff <br />and upon roll call the motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Alderman Tuttle introduced the following ordinance and <br />moved its adoption. The ordinance is entitled: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANC~ REGULATING PARKING OF MOTOR <br />VEHICLES ON PORTIONS OF RANCH ROAD NO. 12 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The ordinance waS read in full and Alderman Korff seconded the <br />motion of adoption. Upon roll call the ayes and nayes were as <br />follows: <br /> <br />AYES: Aldermen-Beecroft, Hillburn, Korff and Tuttle <br /> <br />NAYES: None <br /> <br />Whereupon Mayor Allen declared the ordinance passed, approved and <br />adopted, <br />
