Joseph Bochenski, pastor of St. John's Catholic Church~ gave the Invocation. I The.Minutes of the meetings ~f March 8 and April 7, 1965, were unaAimously approved as presented, on motion of Alderman Pool and second of Alderman Tuttle. Mr. Serur introduced a Resolution commending Ruben Ruiz for his service as Alderman the past four years. Alderman Whitt- enberg moved that the Resolution be tabled. Alderman Tuttle seconded the. mot ion, and on 1'0 Ilea J I, the fo Ilow i ng vote was recorded: AYE: Tuttle, Whittenberg NAY: Pool The Mayor Pro Tem declared the motion carried, and the Resolution tabled. Mr. Serur asked the Hon. Terry L. Jacks, Judge of the 22nd Judicial District, to administer the Oath of Office to the elected officials. The Oath was administered separately to Ellis Serur, Mayor; Dr. William C. Pool, Alderm~n;and Joe C. Froh, Alderman. I Mayor Serur declared the new Counci I In session, with al I members present. The Mayor brought before the Counci I a Petition for Annex- atinn signed by Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Roche and H. Garland Stokes.
