Moore, Laurence Fish, Bi I Iy Hinton, Tom Buckner, Bruce Smith, Sidney Liste~ The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. I The Mayor introduced and read aloud the Resolution and Order ca II i ng an elect i on for the author i zat i on of bonds tota II i ng $2,735,000, to be .held on September 27, 1966. A copy is attached as ~ part of the Minutes, Alderman Whittenberg moved its adoption. Alderman Damon seconded the motion, and on 1"01 I call the fol lowing vote was r~corded: AYE: Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg NAY: None The Mayor declared the Resolution and'OrderPassed, Approved and Adopted. BUDGET HEARING The Mayor declared the meeting open for the Budget Hearing. Mr. Serur read a loud the City Manager' sl etter to theCounci I, page one of the bound copy of the 1967 Budget. The meeting was turned over to the City Manager. Mr. Wo.1 ff presented the proposed 1967 Budget by means of pro- jection of each page on a screen, with brief explanation. Op- portunity for questions was given on each section. At the con- clusion, Alderman Damon commended the City Manager and his staff for an excel~ent preparation andpresentatjon, and moved adoption of the 1967 Budget, as proposed. Alderman Pool seconded the motion and on roll call, the followi~g vote. was recorded: I AYE: NAY; Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg None The Mayor dec I ared the Budget adopted,. and read. a loud the accompanying Ordinance setting the tax rate for 1967. A copy is made a part of the Minutes. Alderman Froh moved adoption of the Ordinance, ~Iderman Whitten- berg seconded the motion and on roll cal I, the fol lowing vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg None The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted.
