<br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />The Minutes of the, February 12, 1968 meeting were approved
<br />as presented, on motion of Mr. Damon, and second of Dr. Craddock.
<br />
<br />T~e ~ity Manager opened bids on the sal~ ~f $500,000 ~f the
<br />City s Genera I Ob I i gat i on Bonds. A tabu I,at ion is attached.
<br />G~ne Rourke of Ranson ,& Company, I nc., fi sea I agents for' the City,
<br />discussed the bond market with members of the Council. He said
<br />the Counci I must accept or reject a bid at the meeting. After
<br />lengthy discuss ion, Dr. Poo I moved that F i rstSouthwest. 00: s low
<br />bid, with effect i ve interest of 4.9340%, be, accepted. Mr. F lores
<br />seconded the mot i on and on ro" ca II the fo" ow i ng vote was recorded:

<br />The Mayor declared the motion carried.

<br />The City Manag~r open~d bids on eight vehicles to be purchased
<br />by the City, see tabulation attached, Dr; Craddock moved that
<br />the City Manager accept the low bid on vehicles. Mr. Damon
<br />seconded the motion and on roll cal I, the following vote was
<br />recorded:
