Tommy Ruth Ball, Assembly of God Minister, <br />ga~e the Invoc~tion. <br /> <br />Councilman Zavesky moved approval of the Minutes of <br />January 27 & 28, 1969, as presented. Councilman Smith <br />seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote <br />was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Craddock, Dannelley, Pool, Serur, Smith, Zavesky <br />None <br />Flores <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />Rodger Zimmerman, counsel representing Tom and W.H. Hamilton, jr. <br />requested a change of zoning on 10.947 acres of property <br />recently annexedbyth~Council, from "R-l" to "D-multi-family". <br />Recalling that the Council had followed the recommendation of <br />the Planning & Zoning Commission that a previous request be <br />denied, Mr. Zimmerman asked that the Council reconsider and <br />grant the change of zoning. The Mayor asked ~r. Zimmerman to <br />present his request in writing, setting forth the details, in <br />order that the Council could get legal advice on the matter. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Frank Taylor, co-chairman of ,the Pa'rks and Recreation Board, <br />appeared before the Council to present a proposal for installing <br />adequate lighting on the Little League ball fields in City Park. <br />H~ recalled that $10,000 of the anticipat~d sales tax revenue <br />had been allotted in the present budget for parks and recreation. <br />
