<br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The Rev.
<br />Hugh Busby, Pastor of First Christian Church, gave the Invocation.
<br />
<br />The Minutes of March 24, March 27 and April 2, 1969 were approv-
<br />ed as presented, on motion of Mr. Zavesky and second of
<br />Mr. Dannell€;y.
<br />
<br />The Mayor administered the oath of office to Councilwoman
<br />Dr. Emmie Craddock and Councilman Frank Contreras, Jr.
<br />
<br />Councilman Flores moved that EllisSerur be named Mayor. The
<br />motion being seconded, the following vote was recorded:

<br />Mr. Serur was declared Mayor.
