RESOLUTION NO. ]981-9R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. <br />2 TO A CONTRACT FOR PLANNING SERVICES BETWEEN <br />SAID CITY AND FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. OF <br />AUSTIN, TEXAS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN <br />CONNECTION WITH THE REVIEW AND UPDATE OF THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE MASTER PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT RE- <br />LATED ORDINANCES AND POLICIES OF SAID CITY; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY TO <br />EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFEC- <br />TIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />on March 10, 1980 approved a contract between said City and <br />Freese and Nichols, Inc. of Austin, Texas, for the provision of <br />professional services in connection with the review and update <br />of the comprehensive master plan and development related or- <br />dinances and policies of said city and, on June 23, 1980, approved <br />Amendment No. 1 to said contract; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend said contract to detail <br />the services to be performed in Phase III of the contract; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Master Plan Executive Committee of said City <br />approved the Master Plan Outline for Phase III on December 4, 1980, <br />and the Planning and Zoning Commission of said City approved the <br />proposed Phase III of the Master Plan process on December 16, 1980; <br />now, therefore; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. That Amendment No. 2 To Contract!~ For Planning S.ervices <br />between Freese and NiChols, Inc. of Austin, Texas and the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas for the provision of professional services in <br />connection with the review and update of the comprehensive master <br />plan and development related ordinances and policies of said City, <br />a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />intents and purposes be, and the same is hereby, approved in all <br />respects. <br /> <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager of said City, A.C. Gonzalez, <br />be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute said amendment on behalf <br />of the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br /> PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and <br />effect immediately upon its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 12th day of January, 1981. <br /> <br /> / Kenneth V.
