Womack Mark Taylor Stephanie Langenkamp Carol Barrett Tom Taggart Mike Baker Howard Williams Rodney Cobb Laurie Anderson Rodney Gonzales Richard Mendoza Mark Brinkley Bob Higgs Also present: Phil Neighbors, Dan Rogers, Gloria Salazar, Tom Rowe, Camille Phillips, Kelly Franks, Ed Theriot, James Frye, Jan Clark, Shelley Goodwin and others. Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Tod Harrison lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Narvaiz introduced the Citizen Comment Period. 1) Camille Phillips stated she would love to see a Convention Center in San Marcos. She stated she has some concerns regarding the proposed project. She encouraged the Council to go slow in reaching a decision on this project. 2) Betsy Robertson stated she wished to speak regarding Item 12, a Zoning Ordinance. She stated she feels the Council should approve the construction of the new cell phone tower only if the City can relocate their emergency antennas. She stated she feels this is a win-win situation, but the Council needs to get a guarantee that the City will have a place on the tower. Mayor Narvaiz introduced the Staff Report. 1) Mr. O'Leary reminded the Council of the Budget Workshop scheduled for July 6 and 7, 2004 beginning at 6:00 p.m. each night.
