Womack <br />Mark Taylor <br />Stephanie Langenkamp <br />Carol Barrett <br />Tom Taggart <br />Mike Baker <br />Howard Williams <br />Rodney Cobb <br />Laurie Anderson <br />Rodney Gonzales <br />Richard Mendoza <br />Mark Brinkley <br />Bob Higgs <br /> <br />Also present: Phil Neighbors, Dan Rogers, Gloria Salazar, Tom Rowe, <br />Camille Phillips, Kelly Franks, Ed Theriot, James Frye, Jan Clark, Shelley <br />Goodwin and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Tod Harrison lead <br />the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced the Citizen Comment Period. 1) Camille Phillips <br />stated she would love to see a Convention Center in San Marcos. She <br />stated she has some concerns regarding the proposed project. She <br />encouraged the Council to go slow in reaching a decision on this project. <br />2) Betsy Robertson stated she wished to speak regarding Item 12, a Zoning <br />Ordinance. She stated she feels the Council should approve the <br />construction of the new cell phone tower only if the City can relocate <br />their emergency antennas. She stated she feels this is a win-win <br />situation, but the Council needs to get a guarantee that the City will <br />have a place on the tower. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced the Staff Report. 1) Mr. O'Leary reminded the <br />Council of the Budget Workshop scheduled for July 6 and 7, 2004 beginning <br />at 6:00 p.m. each night. <br />
