Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss the purchase of real property (Downtown area) and lease of real property (Airport area); and Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is conducting economic development negotiations, or to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (North IH35 area; IH35 South/McCarty area). The Council adjourned into Executive Session at 6:02 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene at 6:57 p.m.
