17 RESOLUTION NO. 1982-21R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND AUSTIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR THE PROVISION OF LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENT NURSES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFEC- TIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the San Marcos-Hays County Health Department shes to utilize student nurses from Austin Community College, of Austin, Texas, in its program of services to the community; and, WHEREAS, Austin Community College is lling and ab to allow nursing students at said college to participate in the activities conducted by the San Marcos Hays County Health Depart- ment; and, WHEREAS, the Ci Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, finds it would be in the best interest of said Ci sa s nurses to partici in said activities; now, there e, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the Agreement between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Austin Community College, of Austin, Texas, for the ovision of learning experiences for student nurses, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein for all intents purposes, be, the same is hereby, approved in all r PART 2. That the City of the Ci of San Marcos, Texas, A.C. Gonzalez, Jr. be, and he is hereby, authoriz to execute said agreement on behalf sa City. PART 3. That this Resolution 1 become effective ately from and after its passage. ADOPTED this 10th day of May , 1982. Mayor Attest: Janis K. Womack Ci Secretary The attached agreement was forwarded to Austin Community College (through Terry Ewald, Sanitarian) for execution. Mr. Ewald advised me "the Austin Community College class ends in August and it was probably too late for them to work at 'our' clinics, and they will review the agreement and have a group work at our department in September".
