<br />89 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1998 - 8R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />APPROVING A CORRECTION DEED FOR THE <br />CONVEYANCE OF PORTIONS OF LOTS 7 <br />AND 8, BLOCK 8, D.S. COMBS ADDITION TO <br />AMOS PERKINS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE DEED; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On June 24, 1996 the City Council approved the sale of portions of Lots 7 and 8, <br />Block 8, D.S. Combs Addition located in the 500 block of Valley Street in San Marcos, <br />Texas to Mr. Amos Perkins. <br /> <br />2. The City wishes to correct an error in the description of the property to be conveyed <br />by this sale to Mr. Perkins. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The Correction Deed attached to this resolution from the City to Mr. <br />Amos Perkins is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />attached conveyance on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3. <br />passage. <br /> <br />This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 12th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />January <br /> <br />1998. <br /> <br />r::s~9. ~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
