Services Carol Barrett <br />Also Present: Penny Dunn, Rhonda Regan, Sue Cohen, Janis Hendrix, Melissa <br />Millecam and others. <br />Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced a public hearing of Annexation Ordinance, the <br />caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />ANNEXING TO THE CITY A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 5.81 ACRES, MORE OR <br />LESS, LOCATED SOUTHWEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF CENTERPOINT ROAD AND <br />IH -35 (OUTLET WEST TRACT); APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR THIS TRACT; <br />AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak. No one did, so Mayor Narvaiz closed the public hearing. <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced a discussion and review of the Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2007 funding applications and direction to <br />Staff on allocations of 2007 CDBG funds as guidance for the preparations of <br />the 2007 Action Plan. Mr. O'Leary stated Janis Hendrix, CDBG Coordinator, <br />has provided the 2007 Action Plan Funding recommendations. Ms. Hendrix <br />stated this year there was three request for funding. She stated the <br />Southside Community Center requested $99,000.00, The Village of San Marcos <br />requested $396,044.00, Habitat for Humanity requested $100,000.00 and the <br />Program Administrator gets funded 200 of the allocations, which is <br />
