<br /> 135 <br /> RESOLUTION 1995 lOR <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND <br /> USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY, FROM <br /> OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL TO COMMERCIAL FOR A <br /> 1.58 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1400 <br /> AQUARENA SPRINGS DRIVE AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On November 29, 1994 the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of San <br /> Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Map of <br /> the Master Plan from Office and Professional to Commercial for a 1.58 acre tract of <br /> property located at 1400 Aquarena Springs Drive. <br /> 2. Subsequent to the public hearing on that date, the Commission did, on November <br /> 29, 1994, consider the request and voted to approve it and has recommended that the <br /> request be approved by the City Council of the City. <br /> . <br /> 3. The City Council held a public hearing on the 23rd day of January , <br /> 1995, regarding the request. <br /> 4. All requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to amendments have been met. <br /> 5. The City Council finds and determines that the adoption of the following <br /> resolution is in the interest of the public, health, morals, welfare and safety. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COU~CIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real property which is in an area <br /> shown on the Future Land Use Map of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Office <br /> and Professional shall be shown on that map as Commercial: <br /> Street address: 1400 Aquarena Springs Drive. <br /> <br /> Size: 1.58 acres <br /> Leqal description: See attached Exhibit "A" <br /> <br /> Deed or plat reference: In the process of being replatted. <br /> <br /> PART 2.
