Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Sections 551.072 and 551.07 to discuss if public discussion would have a detrimental effect on the City's position in negotiations with a third person (FM 110 Loop area); Section 551.074 to discuss the appointment of a public officer or employee (City Attorney); Section 551.074 to discuss the employment of a public officer or employee (Outside Counsel); Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information the City has received from a business prospect that the City seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the City and with which the City is conducting economic development negotiations, or to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (Development * Ms Couch and Mr. Quittner were not present at this meeting.
