<br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes
<br />of the Regular Meeting held December 20, 1982. Mr. Brown moved to
<br />approve the minutes and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call
<br />the following vote was recorded:
<br />
<br />AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Mendez, Moore.
<br />
<br />NAY: None.
<br />
<br />ABSTAIN: Norris.
<br />
<br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of four appoint-
<br />ments to the Parks and Recreation Board. Mr. Farr moved that all names
<br />submitted to the City Secretary prior to the meeting be placed in nomi-
<br />nation for the Council's consideration: Ollie Giles, Maurice "Mo"
<br />Johnson (reappointment), Lunelle Anderson (reappointment), Diane Pape
<br />and Tom Allen. Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unani-
<br />mously. On roll call the following vote was recorded:
<br />
<br />BROWN: Giles, Johnson, Anderson, Allen.
<br />FARR: Giles, Johnson, Anderson, Allen.
<br />CRADDOCK: Johnson, Allen, Pape, Anderson.
<br />MENDEZ: Giles, Johnson, Anderson, Pape.
<br />MOORE: Giles, Johnson, Pape, Allen.
<br />NORRIS: Giles, Johnson, Pape, Allen.
<br />
<br />Mr. Johnson received 6 votes, Mrs. Giles 5 votes, Mr. Allen 5 votes
<br />and Mrs. Pape and Mrs. Anderson received 4 votes. On a second roll
<br />call for the fourth appointment to the Parks Board, the following
<br />vote was recorded:

<br />BROWN: Anderson.
<br />FARR: Anderson.
<br />CRADDOCK: Anderson.
<br />MENDEZ: Anderson.
<br />MOORE: Pape.
<br />NORRIS: Pape.
<br />
<br />Lunel1e Anderson and Maurice "Mo" Johnson were reappointed to the
<br />Parks and Recreation Board and Ollie Giles and Tom Allen were appoint-
<br />ed to the Parks and Recreation Board.
<br />
<br />* John A. Kreczmer was not present at this meeting.
