<br />24 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-llR <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 4.68 ACRES <br />OF LAND, MORE OR LESS OUT OF THE J.M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE <br />NO.1, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING ALL <br />OF THAT REAL PROPERTY CONVEYED TO H. GARLAND STOKES AND <br />HERBERT A. YARBROUGH, JR. BY THE FROST NATIONAL BANK OF <br />SAN ANTONIO BY DEED DATED OCTOBER 4,1971 AND RECORDED <br />IN VOLUME 246, PAGE 638, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS; A <br />PORTION OF SAID 4.68 ACRES BEING ALL OF LOTS 1,2,10, <br />11, 12 AND 13 OF BLOCK NO.2 OF THE B.F. DONALDSON <br />ADDITION, SAVE AND EXCEPT A 12.5 FOOT WIDE STRIP OFF THE <br />ENTIRE EAST SIDE OF LOTS 1 AND 2 HERETOFORE CONVEYED FOR <br />HIGHWAY USE, SAID DONALDSON ADDITION BEING A SUBDIVISION <br />OF RECORD IN VOLUME T, PAGE 102 HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS; <br />A PORTION OF SAID 4.68 ACRES ALSO BEING OUT OF FARM LOT <br />NO.7 OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF SAN MARCOS, A <br />SUBDIVISION OF RECORD IN VOLUME 46, PAGE 448, HAYS COUNTY <br />DEED RECORDS; LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE 300 <br />BLOCK OF SOUTH GUADALUPE STREET FROM PERMANENT <br />OPEN SPACE AND/OR FWOD PLAIN TO INDUSTRIAL; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 21, 1986, the Joint Planning <br />and Zoning Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public <br />hearing regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) <br />of the Master Plan from Permanent Open Space and/or Flood <br />Plain to Industrial for 4.68 acres of land, more or less <br />out of the J.M. Veramendi League No.1, City of San Marcos, Hays <br />County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commissions did, on October 21, 1986, consider said request <br />and voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />of February, 1986, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />~1aster <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1.
