Ron P~tterson Also Present: Scott Maiers, Katherine Cannon, Collette Duran, Peggy Doran, Melissa Millecam, Phil Neighbors, Matt Dunda, Mario Gutierrez, Ray Dinges, Bill Haney, John Holterman and others. Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Morris introduced the Citizen comment period. Scott Vaughan of Sign Crafters stated he was present to answer any questions of the Council. Mayor Morris advised the Council would table the contract to be referred back to the Staff. No one else wished to speak. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of three appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mayor Morris moved to appoint Daron Phillips and reappoint Robert Puente. Mr. Cox moved to reappoint Sharon Krebs. On roll call the following vote was recorded: PHILLIPS: Mooney, Morris, Cox, Hernandez. PUENTE: Mooney, Morris, Guerra, Cox, Hernandez. KREBS: Guerra, Cox, Hernandez. Daron Phillips was appointed and Robert Puente was reappointed to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. The remaining appointment will be rescheduled July 24, 1995 (Ms. Krebs did not receive a majority vote of the Council, which requires at least four votes of approval). Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of seven appointments to the Charter Review Commission. Mayor Morris moved to appoint Melvia Randle and Mr. Cox moved to appoint Augustin Lucio, which passed unanimously. The remaining appointments will be rescheduled July 24, 1995. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to complete a vacancy from the Planning and Zoning Commission to serve on the Historic Preservation Commission. The P&Z Commission recommended Lisa Garza to serve in this capacity. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Lisa Garza to complete the vacancy of Clementina Cantu and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval to confirm the appointment by the City Manager to complete a vacancy on the civil Service commission. Mr. Gilley requested Council's confirmation of Chris Williams. Mr. Cox moved to confirm Mr. Gilley's appointment * Messrs. Moore and Hart not present at this meeting.
