Al17.1-1986, Providing Accessibility and Liability <br />For Physically Handicapped People. <br /> <br />Sec. 5-34. <br /> <br />Section AI03.5, Appendix A. <br /> <br />Section <br />follows: <br /> <br />A103.5 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Appendix A is hereby amended to read as <br /> <br />A 103.5--CONTRACTOR, LICENSE <br /> <br />It shall be the duty of every contractor or builder to pay <br />an annual license fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) except <br />as provided in section 5-18 of the code of Ordinances, City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, and to register his name in a book provided <br />for that purpose with the building official, giving full name, <br />residence and place of business, and, in case of removal of <br />the business from one place to another to make a <br />corresponding change in said register, and no license shall <br />be issued to such contractor or builder until such person <br />has given good and sufficient bond in the sum of five <br />thousand ($5,000.00), to guarantee such person's full <br />compliance with the building regulations, the regulations of <br />this section, and other ordinances of the city in reference to <br />buildings. All bonds and licenses shall expire the <br />thirty-first day of December of the year issued. <br /> <br />Sec. 5-35. <br /> <br />Section AI03.7.4, Appendix A <br /> <br />Section <br />follows: <br /> <br />AI03.7.4 of Appendix A is hereby amended to read as <br /> <br />AI03.7.4.1 On all buildings, structures, or <br />alterations requiring a building permit a fee for each <br />building permit shall be paid as required at the time <br />of filing application, in accordance with Appendix K. <br /> <br />AIO3.7.4.2 Inspections after regular City Hall office <br />hours and on weekends shall be paid at the overtime <br />rate of the employee. A minimum of two (2) hours shall be <br />charged. All fees shall be paid in advance of the <br />required inspection. <br /> <br />Sec. 5-36. <br /> <br />Section AI03.8.6, <br /> <br />Appendix A <br /> <br />Section AI03.8.6 of Appendix A is hereby amended to read <br />follows: <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />A103.8.6 Required Inspections. The building official, <br />upon notification from the permit holder or his agent, shall <br />make the following inspections of buildings and such other <br />inspections as may be necessary, and shall either approve <br />that portion of the construction as completed or shall <br />notify the permit holder or his agent wherein the same <br />fails to comply with the law and it shall be the <br />responsibility of the contractor or builder to provide the <br />building official with proper and adequate vehicle <br />access, in the opinion of the building official, to the job <br />site, such access to be within not less than one hundred <br />(100) feet of the job site: and if such access is <br />impractical or impossible in the opinion of the building <br />
