28. 00PM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or against Ordinance 2013 -54, granting a petition by C &G Development, Ltd. for voluntary annexation and annexing, for full purposes, a 45.02 acre tract of land out of the J. Williams Survey, Abstract No. 470, and the T.J. Chambers Survey, Abstract No 2, Hays County, Texas and being a portion of a tract of a called 501.30 acre tract, described in Volume 1360, Page 97, of the Official Public Records of Hays County, Texas in the City of San Marcos; and to be zoned SF -6; extending the boundaries of the City to include the land; binding the land to all of the Acts, Ordinances, Resolutions and Regulations of the City; approving a service plan; and providing an effective date; and consider approval of Ordinance 2013 -54, on the first of two readings. Matt Lewis, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided a brief presentation. Mayor Daniel Guerrero opened the public hearing at 10:14 p.m. There being no comments; the public hearing was closed at 10:14 p.m. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Becak and a second by Council Member Thomason, the City Council voted six (6) for, one (1) absent from the dais, Council Member Thomaides, and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2013 -54 on the first of two readings, as previously captioned.
