28. 00PM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for <br />or against Ordinance 2013 -54, granting a petition by C &G Development, Ltd. for <br />voluntary annexation and annexing, for full purposes, a 45.02 acre tract of land out of <br />the J. Williams Survey, Abstract No. 470, and the T.J. Chambers Survey, Abstract No <br />2, Hays County, Texas and being a portion of a tract of a called 501.30 acre tract, <br />described in Volume 1360, Page 97, of the Official Public Records of Hays County, <br />Texas in the City of San Marcos; and to be zoned SF -6; extending the boundaries of the <br />City to include the land; binding the land to all of the Acts, Ordinances, Resolutions and <br />Regulations of the City; approving a service plan; and providing an effective date; and <br />consider approval of Ordinance 2013 -54, on the first of two readings. <br />Matt Lewis, Director of Planning and Development Services, provided a brief presentation. <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero opened the public hearing at 10:14 p.m. <br />There being no comments; the public hearing was closed at 10:14 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Becak and a second by Council Member <br />Thomason, the City Council voted six (6) for, one (1) absent from the dais, Council Member <br />Thomaides, and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2013 -54 on the first of two readings, as <br />previously captioned.
