<br />-15- <br /> <br />(b) To lend or knowingly permit the use of <br />any license for the doing of any electrical work to <br />any person not entitled to it under the provisions <br />of this chapter. <br /> <br />(c) To display or to represent as one's own <br />any license for electrical work when the license <br />has not been lawfully issued to the person <br />displaying it. <br /> <br />(d) To fail or refuse to surrender to the <br />electrical enforcement official on demand any <br />license for electrical work which has been <br />suspended or cancelled as provided by law. <br /> <br />(e) To apply for or have in one's possession <br />more than one current license of the same type, <br />from the City of San Marcos, as provided for in <br />this chapter. <br /> <br />(f) To use a false or fictitious name or <br />given address in any application for any license <br />provided for in this chapter, or any renewal or <br />duplicate, or knowingly make a false statement or <br />knowingly conceal a material fact or otherwise <br />commit fraud in making any application. <br /> <br />(g) To perform any electrical work for which <br />a license is required without the license required <br />by this chapter, or while the license is suspended <br />or cancelled. <br /> <br />(h) To perform electrical work in any manner <br />in violation of any restrictions imposed on a <br />restricted license. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-6.2. Suspension of license by electrical <br />board. <br /> <br />The Electrical Board may suspend the license <br />of any apprentice, journeYman or master <br />electrician, for a period of not more than one <br />year, after determining at a proper hearing as set <br />out in this article that the licensee has done any <br />of the following: <br /> <br />(a) Permitted an unlawful or fraudulent use <br />of a license. <br /> <br />(b) Performed any electrical work that is in <br />violation of this chapter and, after receiving ten <br />(10) days' written notice of such violation then <br />failed or refused to make correction necessary for <br />the work to conform to this chapter. Written <br />notice by first class mail shall be given by the <br />electrical enforcement official to the personal or <br />business address of the licensee as shown on the <br />permit for the work in question. Notice shall be <br />deemed to be received three days after posting. <br /> <br />(c) In determining whether a license should <br />be suspended, the Electrical Board shall proceed <br />upon sworn information furnished it by an official <br />of the City, or by any person aggrieved by the <br />action of an electrician in the performance of <br />electrical work for which an electrical permit is <br />required by this Chapter. Such information shall <br />be in writing and shall be verified by the person <br />familiar with the facts charged in it and three <br />written copies of it shall be filed with the City <br />Secretary. Upon receipt of the information, the <br />City Secretary shall retain one copy for the <br />
