<br />JOB TITLE: <br /> <br />PURPOSE: <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> <br />QUALIFICATIONS: <br /> <br />REPORTS TO: <br /> <br />HOURS: <br /> <br />SALARY: <br /> <br />SAN MARCOS PUBLIC LIBRARY <br />STORYTIME PRESENTER <br />JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />Story time Presenter <br /> <br />To provide a series of story time programs <br />to pre-school children in the Hispanic <br />community of San Marcos. <br /> <br />To prepare and present twenty story time <br />programs to be held at weekly intervals <br />beginning January 1989 and concluding in <br />May 1989. To issue library cards and <br />check out library books to participants. <br />To report attendance and other related <br />statistics to the Lifelong Learning <br />Project Coordinator on a weekly basis. <br /> <br />Must have experience conducting programs <br />for young children. Must be dependable <br />and friendly. Must be able to provide <br />own transportation to and from story time <br />site. Ability to speak Spanish preferred. <br /> <br />Lifelong Learning Project Coordinator <br /> <br />The story time program will last <br />approximately one hour each week. <br />Times will be arranged by the library. <br /> <br />$30.00 per story time session offered. <br />be paid on a contract basis. <br /> <br />To <br />
