E. Develop educational materials in Spanish and English—suitable for distribution by City's <br />representatives to students in grades K — 12, university groups, and multi- family units on the <br />benefits of single stream recycling and proper recycling practices; <br />F. Contractor shall distinguish the trucks used for recycling from trucks used for solid waste <br />collection on the exterior of each truck. <br />G. Contractor will develop a program to roll out single stream recycling at schools, universities and <br />multi- family units within the contract area in cooperation with community partners. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />Section 2.1 <br />The City will designate the Director to act as the City's authorized representative with respect to this <br />Contract. <br />Section 2.2 <br />The City will assist the Contractor in encouraging Customers to comply with the City's solid waste <br />regulations by providing instruction, public service contact, and informational materials. The City will <br />contact Customers who violate the regulations as the need arises. <br />Section 2.3 <br />The City will bear all costs incident to this Article. <br />Section 2.4 <br />The City will submit statements to and collect from all residential units for residential solid waste services <br />provided by the Contractor under this Contract, including those accounts that are delinquent. <br />Section 2.5 <br />The City will serve as the customer contact for initiation of Residential and Multi - family service, and will <br />relay service initiation requests to the Contractor. <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />PAYMENTS <br />Section 3.1 Rates and Billing <br />3. 1.1 The Contractor will bill the City for service rendered to Residential and Multi- family Units during <br />a month within ten calendar days following the end of the month, and the City will pay the Contractor on <br />or before the 30th day following the date of each bill. Payments after the 30`' day will accrue interest as <br />provided in SECTION 2251 OF THE TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE as amended. Such billing and payment <br />will be based on the price rates and schedules set forth in subsection 3.1.2 of this Contract. <br />3.1.2 The contract rates are listed in "Attachment A ". <br />(a) $4,583.00 per month for city facility services; <br />14 <br />
