<br />2.3 <br /> <br />The owner shall designate a representative authorized to act <br /> <br />in the Owner's behalf with respect to the project(s). <br /> <br />The owner and/or <br /> <br />such authorized representative shall examine the documents submitted by <br />the Engineer and shall render responses pertaining thereto promptly and <br /> <br />provide <br /> <br />Engineer <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />requested <br /> <br />data <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />information <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />Owner's <br /> <br />possession relating to the project(s). <br /> <br />2.4 <br /> <br />The Owner shall provide access to and make all necessary <br /> <br />provisions for the Engineer to enter upon public and private property <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />for the <br /> <br />Engineer to perform <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />under this <br /> <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />2.5 <br /> <br />The Owner shall furnish structural, mechanical, chemical and <br /> <br />other laboratory tests, inspections and reports as required by law or <br />the construction contract documents or as reasonably needed by the <br /> <br />Engineer. <br /> <br />The Engineer shall not be held responsible for its reliance <br /> <br />on any such information supplied by Owner provided that Engineer does <br />not know or reasonably cannot be expected to know of any deficiency or <br /> <br />error in such information supplied by Owner. <br /> <br />2.6 <br /> <br />The Owner shall furnish all legal, accounting and insurance <br /> <br />counseling services as may be necessary at any time for the Project(s), <br />including such auditing services as the Owner may require to ascertain <br /> <br />how or for what purposes the Contractor uses the money paid by or on <br />behalf of the Owner. <br /> <br />2.7 <br /> <br />The Owner shall furnish required information and services and <br /> <br />shall render responses and conduct its review of written materials as <br /> <br />expeditiously as possible. <br /> <br />-13- <br />
