<br />1.1.6 <br /> <br />Furnish two ( 2 ) <br /> <br />copies of the draft preliminary report to <br /> <br />Owner prior to performance of 1.1.7 below. <br /> <br />1.1.7 <br /> <br />Furnish the Owner Six (6) copies of the preliminary report, <br /> <br />including preliminary lists of equipment, software, layouts and cost <br /> <br />estimates. <br /> <br />1.1.8 <br /> <br />Provide site tabulations as described in Article 13. <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />DESIGN PHASE <br /> <br />Engineer shall: <br /> <br />1.2.1 <br /> <br />Prior to a pre-design conference with Owner, <br /> <br />review cost <br /> <br />estimates presented in the preliminary report to determine if costs <br /> <br />have materially changed since publication. <br /> <br />If significant changes have <br /> <br />ocurred, the Engineer will provide written revised cost estimates to <br /> <br />the Owner. <br /> <br />1.2.2 <br /> <br />Attend <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />pre-design <br /> <br />conference <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />Owner <br /> <br />regarding the <br /> <br />preliminary report and required modifications <br /> <br />or revisions <br /> <br />of the <br /> <br />recommended alternative. <br /> <br />Owner may request that manufacturer's <br /> <br />literature, or demonstrations of software and equipment, be presented <br />at this meeting or as a result of this meeting. <br /> <br />1.2.3 <br /> <br />Establish the scope of field surveys and any additional soil <br /> <br />and foundation investigations or any special surveys or tests which, in <br />Engineer's opinion, may be required for design. <br /> <br />1.2.4 <br /> <br />Furnish <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />Owner, <br /> <br />where <br /> <br />required <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />project, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />engineering data <br /> <br />necessary <br /> <br />for applications <br /> <br />for local, <br /> <br />state, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />federal authorities. <br /> <br />1.2.5 <br /> <br />Prepare detailed specifications and contract drawings for <br /> <br />construction authorized by Owner. <br /> <br />-3- <br />
