<br />SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> <br />ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> <br />ISSUED BY: <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />SHEET NO. <br /> <br />EFFECTIVE DATE: <br /> <br />10/1/88 <br /> <br />REVISION NO. <br /> <br />LARGE GENERAL SERVICE <br />RATE SCHEDULE - LGS <br /> <br />DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMAND <br /> <br />The "Billing Demand" each month shall be the greater of the <br />following: <br /> <br />a. the highest kW demand established during any 30 minute <br />period during the month; <br /> <br />b. 65% of the highest kW demand established during the <br />immediately preceding 11 months; <br /> <br />c. 350 kW or 50% of the Contract Demand. <br /> <br />POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT <br /> <br />The monthly metered demand will be adjusted to an equivalent <br />90% power factor for billing purposes when the power factor at any <br />point of delivery is determined to be less than 90%. Such <br />adjustment will be deferred for six months at a new point of <br />delivery to allow for corrective action by the customer. <br /> <br />INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE <br /> <br />The City will make reasonable provisions to insure satisfac- <br />tory and continuous service, but does not guarantee a continuous <br />supply of electrical power and energy and shall not be liable for <br />damage occasioned by interruptions of service or failure to <br />commence delivery caused by acts of God, or the public enemy, or <br />for any cause reasonably beyond its control, including, but not <br />limited to the failure or breakdown of facilities, floods, fire, <br />strikes, or actions or orders of any agency having jurisdiction in <br />the premises, or for interruptions which are necessary for <br />inspection, repair, or changes in equipment or facilities of the <br />City or its bulk power suppliers. <br /> <br />The Customer shall notify the city immediately of any defects, <br />trouble or accident which may in any way affect the delivery of <br />electric service by the city. <br /> <br />9/6/88 <br /> <br />- 15 - <br />
