3 Regular Meeting February 10, 1986 Page 3 Mayor Craddock introduced a public hearing and approval of an Ordin- ance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, M4ENDING THE GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF TEE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES BY CHANGING THE DEFINITIONS OF FLOOR AREA, GROSS DENSITY AND SUBDIVI- SION; PROVIDING FOR MASTER PLAN AND ZONING CONFORMANCE FOR NElvLY ANNEXED TERRITORY; ADDING CHURCHES TO PERMIT- TED USES IN OP DISTRICTS; ADDING SPECIFIC USES FOR OP DISTRICTS; ADDING PERHITTED USES IN C DISTRICTS; ADDING A SPECIFIC USE IN C DISTRICTS; CLARIFYING PER~ITTED USES IN THE CBA; CHANGING MINIMUM LOT REQUIREMENTS IN MF-l, MF-2, MF-3, MF-4 AND MF-5 DISTRICTS; ADDING PER- MITTED USES IN M DISTRICTS; CHANGING PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR APARTMENTS, OFFICES, WAREHOUSES, GARAGES AND LUMBER- YARDS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the amendments. No one did, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mr. Farr moved for ap- proval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mayor Craddock seconded the motion. Mayor Craddock moved to amend Page 2, SECTION 5. Section 7. to read as follows: "All territory annexed to the City of San Mar- cos shall be unzoned until zoned by the City Council to a classifica- tion which is in conformance with the Master Plan, and which has been reviewed by the Zoning Commission", and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Ms. Kissler moved to amend Page 3. SECTION 12. Section 30. (2) to read as follows: "Establishments which dispense liquor, wine or beer for on-premise consumption under permit by the State of Texas", and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Farr noved to amend Page 3, SECTION 18. Section 20. (D) to amend the square footage to 3,630 in place of 3,360, and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. On roll call for approval of the Ordinance on first reading, the Council voted unanimously for ap- proval. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, M4ENDING APPENDIX A OF THE GENERAL ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY, BY REPEALING THE CUR- RENT SECTION 35(g) OF SAID ORDINANCE AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 35(G) WHICH PROVIDES FOR RENEWAL OF SPECIFIC USE PERMITS IN DISTRICTS WHERE NEW SPECIFIC USE PERMITS FOR THAT USE COULD NOT BE GRANTED AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
