-5- THENCE, leaving IH-35 and said State of Texas 4.821 acre tract, S45°29'E, 916.75 feet to a point in the Southeast line of said City of San Marcos 30.0 acre tract, for the East corner of the tract herein described; THENCE, with the Southeast line of said City of San Marcos 30.0 acre tract the following calls numbered (1) and (2): ( 1) S45°20'W, 158.10 feet; ( 2) S44°53'W, 569.90 feet to the Place of BEGINNING, containing 14.70 acres of land. Proposition No. 29 FOR/AGAINST Remove the municipal airport restriction from several tracts of land out of the Municipal Airport Subdivision totaling approximately 18.16 acres in size, more or less, and being part of that property commonly known as Lowman Airfield located on the southeast side of the 2200 through 2600 blocks of IH-35 South, as the same is no longer needed as a municipal airport, so that the proceeds from any sale and/or trade may be used only to acquire parkland, said property being more particularly described as follows: Tract One: Runway No. One ( 1), according to the plat of said subdivision and which Runway No. One ( 1) is described particularly by Don Cude after a survey on the ground as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pipe on the Southwest line of a tract of land conveyed by Chas. H. Bass et ux to Alfredo Guerrero by deed of date January 17, 1946, and of record in Volume 133, Pages 492-93 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, and on the Northeast line of a 59.63 acre tract of land conveyed by William A. Williams and wife, Mellie B. Williams, to Robert P. Lowman by deed of date July 20, 1954, and of record in Volume 159, Pages 612-15 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, and is described as Tract One (1) and from which point the East corner of a 131 foot strip of land reserved for the widening of U.S. Highway No. 81 bears North 44°36' West 400.0 feet and an old iron pipe on the Southwest line of U.S. Highway No. 81 (as of September 1954) and at the North corner of the heretofore mentioned 59.63 acre tract of land bears North 44°36' West 531.0 feet: THENCE South 44°50'West 3326.3 feet, passing the East side of Runway No. Two ( 2) 183.0 feet, the West side of Runway No. Two (2) at 319.1 feet, the East corner of Lot one (1) at 618.2 feet and the Northeast line of a 41.08 acre tract of land as described as Tract Two ( 2) in the heretofore mentioned Lowman's deed at 1625.5 feet, to an iron pipe on the Northeast line of a tract of land conveyed by Bankers Life Co., a corporation, to Alex T. Forshage, Sr., by deed of date September 24, 1945, and of record in Volume 133, Pages 400-02 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas, and the Southwest line of a 41.08 acre tract of land as heretofore mentioned and this iron pipe is the South corner of Lot 27 and the West corner of this Runway;
