Group was selected by the City of Beaumont, Texas, to develop a <br /> long-range (5 year) Information Systems Plan. The selection process included responding <br /> to the City's Request for Proposals, analysis of the proposals by the City's selection team, <br /> and oral presentations to the selection team, City Manager, and City Council. The <br /> information systems plan will enable City management to: <br /> . Plan for expenditures and resource requirements for information processing. <br /> . Address an organized approach to the selection, implementation, and use of <br /> micro-computers and office automation. <br /> . Identify high priority information needs within the City's operations. <br /> .
