While the Committee took no formal action on the <br /> following it supports them as part of an overall growth <br /> management program which the city has embarked since <br /> the formation of the committee; the following directly <br /> related to the Committee's work: <br /> a. Capital recovery fees for water and wastewater <br /> that enable the extension of these services to new <br /> growth. <br /> b. Thoroughfare Plan amendments designed to create a <br /> more effective transportation network. <br /> c. Public Works' street maintenance and pavement <br /> management program designed to improve existing <br /> streets in a cost effective way. <br /> d. Drainage master plan program and the acquisition <br /> of aerial photography with one foot contour <br /> interval topography. <br /> e. The long range wastewater system improvement study <br /> and model development (thé Black and Veatch <br /> study). <br /> f. Revision of the zoning ordinance and rewrite of <br /> the subdivision ordinance. These amendments are <br /> designed to improve implementation of the Master <br /> Plan, eliminate regulatory inconsistencies, and <br /> provide more understandable and flexible <br /> standards. <br /> g. Parks master planning. <br /> h. Development of sign regulations. <br /> i. Revision of the landscape ordinance to protect <br /> trees. <br /> j.
