<br /> -8- <br /> ARTICLE 4 <br /> SPECIAL SERVICES <br /> 4.1 GENERAL <br /> 4.1.1 The professional services set forth hereinafter as <br /> Special Serv ices are not incl uded as part of the services to be <br /> provided by the CONSULTANT under Article 3. In the event that <br /> consulting services beyond that specified under Article 3 are necessary <br /> or desirable, such Work will be performed as Special Serv ices. Fees <br /> for such Work will be in addition to the basic compensation for the <br /> PROJECT scope described in Article 3. <br /> 4.1.2 The CONSULTANT will furnish Special Services only when <br /> authorized, in writing, by the OWNER. <br /> 4.2 SPECIAL SERVICES, GROUP 1 <br /> Special Serv ices are as follows: <br /> 4.2.1 Land surveys required to establish location of land <br /> boundaries and corners. <br /> 4.2.2 Design or special consulting services, not included in <br /> basic serv ices. <br /> 4.2.3 Complete revision of contract drawings and <br /> specifications which have previously been approved by the OWNER and <br /> Federal Aviation Administration. Revisions to correct design <br /> deficiencies or minor modifications will be accomplished under Basic <br /> Serv ices, Phase 2. <br /> 4.2.4 Resident or full-time, on-site inspection, if required <br /> by the OWNER, to be performed by CHARLES WILLIS & ASSOCIATES, INC. <br /> 4.2.5 Supply to the OWNER and Federal Aviation Administration <br /> a copy of the as-built plans. <br /> ARTICLE 5 <br /> COMPENSATION <br /> 5.1 PAYMENT FOR BASIC SERVICES, PHASES 1 AND 2 <br /> 5.1.1 Payment for services under Phases 1, 2, and 3 shall be a <br /> total sum of $53,879.00. The following allocation of the charge shall <br /> apply: <br /> Phase 1 - preliminary - 54.42 Percent $27,146.00 <br /> Phase 2 - Design - 30.14 Percent $15,033.00 <br /> Phase 3 - General Administration - 15.44 Percent $ 7,700.00 <br /> of Construction <br />
