However, ARCHITECT ShaLL exerC1se 1tS author1ty on oehalf of OWNER 1n accordance herewith ana part1cuLarly during the constructlon phase so that the mean s, methoas, technlques, sequences ana procedures of construction resuLt 1n a proJect(s) completed in accordance w1th the Contract Documents, and during said phase should ARCHITECT Decome aware of Contractor's util1zat10n of means, method s, technlques, sequences ana/or procedures of construction which, in ARCHITECT's opin10n, wilL not result in compLetion of the project(s) 1n accordance w1th the Contract Documents or which are unsafe, ARCHITECT shaLl 1mmediately so inform OWNER ana shall take all necessary action which it is author1zed under this contract to take to correct the matter. In such sltuat10ns, the ARCHITECT shall have the r1ght and power to immeaiately cease the work by Contractor on the project(s). 1.5.6 The ARCHITECT shall at aLl times have access to the Work wherever 1t is ln preparation or progress. 1.5.7 The ARCHITECT shall determine the amounts ow1ng to the Contractor Dased on its on-site profess10nal inspections and on evaluat10ns of the Contractor's Applications for Payment incluaing comparlsons of Contractor's monthLy cost reports with his AppLicat1ons for payment, ana shall make recomrnenaat10ns for Payment in such amounts, as provided 1n the Contract Documents, or take such other appropr1ate action it deems necessary. 1.5.8 Recomrnendat10ns for Payment shall const1tute a representation by ARCHITECT to the OWNER, Dasea on the ARCHITECTls on-site professional 1nspect10ns at the slte as prov1aea 1n Subparagraph 1.5.4 ana on the data comprising the Contractor's Applicat10n for Payment, that the Work has progressed to the point inaicatea¡ that, to the Dest of the ARCHITECT IS knowleage, information and belief, the quality of the Work 1S in acceptaDLe conformance with the Contract Documents (suDJect to an evaluation of the Work for conformance with the Contract Documents upon SuDstant1al Compiet10n, suDJect to the resuits of any suDsequent tests required by or performed under the Contract Documents, subJect to minor variations from the Contract Documents correctaDle pr10r to compLet10n, ana suDject to any specific quaL1fications stated 1n the Certificate for Payment); and that the Contractor 1S entitled to -5-
