In such sltuat10ns, <br /> the ARCHITECT shall have the r1ght and power to immeaiately cease the <br /> work by Contractor on the project(s). <br /> 1.5.6 The ARCHITECT shall at aLl times have access to the Work <br /> wherever 1t is ln preparation or progress. <br /> 1.5.7 The ARCHITECT shall determine the amounts ow1ng to the <br /> Contractor Dased on its on-site profess10nal inspections and on <br /> evaluat10ns of the Contractor's Applications for Payment incluaing <br /> comparlsons of Contractor's monthLy cost reports with his AppLicat1ons <br /> for payment, ana shall make recomrnenaat10ns for Payment in such <br /> amounts, as provided 1n the Contract Documents, or take such other <br /> appropr1ate action it deems necessary. <br /> 1.5.8 Recomrnendat10ns for Payment shall const1tute a representation <br /> by ARCHITECT to the OWNER, Dasea on the ARCHITECTls on-site <br /> professional 1nspect10ns at the slte as prov1aea 1n Subparagraph 1.5.4 <br /> ana on the data comprising the Contractor's Applicat10n for Payment, <br /> that the Work has progressed to the point inaicatea¡ that, to the Dest <br /> of the ARCHITECT IS knowleage, information and belief, the quality of <br /> the Work 1S in acceptaDLe conformance with the Contract Documents <br /> (suDJect to an evaluation of the Work for conformance with the Contract <br /> Documents upon SuDstant1al Compiet10n, suDJect to the resuits of any <br /> suDsequent tests required by or performed under the Contract Documents, <br /> subJect to minor variations from the Contract Documents correctaDle <br /> pr10r to compLet10n, ana suDject to any specific quaL1fications stated <br /> 1n the Certificate for Payment); and that the Contractor 1S entitled to <br /> -5- <br />
