<br /> related documents required by the Contract Documents and assembled by <br /> the Contractor; shall issue a final Certificate for Payment or take <br /> other appropriate action; and shall make a recommendation to OWNER <br /> regard~ng OWNER's acceptance of the Project. <br /> 1.5.13 The extent of the duties, responsibilities and l~mitations of <br /> authority of the ARCHITECT as the OWNER's representat~ve during <br /> construction shall not be modified or extended after the Contract <br /> Documents have been authorized to be competitively bid without wr~tten <br /> consent of the OWNER and the ARCHITECT and with notice to the <br /> Contractor. <br /> 1.5.14 The ARCHITECT shall prepare and submit to the OWNER a set of <br /> reproducible record drawings showing significant changes ~n the Work <br /> made during the construction phase. <br /> 1.5.15 In the event of any arbitration proceeding as prov~ded ~n the <br /> Contract Documents, the ARCHITECT may be made a party thereto at the <br /> request of either OWNER or Contractor. <br /> 1.6 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> For the purposes of this Contract, additional services Wi.l.l oe <br /> considered to be all services not included in the basic contracted <br /> services as identified in Article 1, excluding Sect~ons 1.6 ana <br /> 1. 7. Additional services shall De provided if author~zed or <br /> confirmed ~n writing by the OWNER as provided in this agreement, <br /> and compensation shall Oe in addition to that specified for basic <br /> serv~ces. Compensation for additional services shall be in <br /> accordance with Section 14.2.1 of this contract. Additional <br /> serv~ces shall include, but not De lim~ted to, the following <br /> potential work items: <br /> 1.6.1 Making revisions in Plans, Specifications or other documents <br /> when such revisions are inconsistent with written approvals or <br /> instructions previously given or are due to other causes not solely <br /> w~thin the control of the ARCHITECT. <br /> 1.6.2 Additional copies of Contract Drawings, Specifications, and <br /> other Contract Documents other than those provided for in paragraph <br /> 1.3.1 hereof as a part of Basic Services. <br /> 1.6.3 Prepare and ass~st the OWNER in making application for the <br /> necessary highway and railroad right-of-way permits ana highway and. <br /> railrOad. crossing permits. <br /> -7- <br />
