For four years she has served <br />as Research Associate for the Texas Transportation Institute. <br />Her responsibilities included managing and performing transpor- <br />tation planning and research projects; developing plans for <br />transitways and park-and-ride lots; conducting demand estimation <br />for short and long range transit improvements; performing man- <br />agement evaluations of rural public transportation providers; <br />developing population projections and land use/employment fore- <br />casts; and analyzing socioeconomic impacts of transportation <br />improvements. <br /> <br />For nearly four years, Ms. Nungesser was planner for the San <br />Antonio District of the State Depar~ment of Highways and Public <br />Transportation, a district comprising twelve south central <br />count ies .
