<br />LISA G. NUNGESSER (cont'd) <br /> <br />Prior to her association with the Highway Department, Ms. Nun- <br />gesser served as planner for the City of San Antonio's Rideshar- <br />ing Program. This work followed her first job at the San Anton- <br />io Transit System. In this capacity, Ms. Nungesser performed <br />transit origin and destination surveys and time delay studies. <br /> <br />Ms. Nungesser is now president of L. Nungesser, Inc. Planning <br />Consultants. <br /> <br />Ms. Nungesser has participated in a variety of <br />consulting projects. These included assignments <br />plans, transportation plans, socioeconomic and <br />studies and environmental assessments. <br /> <br />research and <br />in transit <br />demographic <br /> <br />Transportation Plans <br /> <br />o Served as Principal Investigator for the u.S. 77/83 Freeway <br />Access Study in Brownsville, Texas. The study involved <br />traffic forecasting and analyzing travel patterns. The <br />plan recommended additional ramps, changes in the ramp <br />configuration, and other geometric modifications to the <br />freeway. <br /> <br />o Developed the 20-year highway and street plan for San <br />Antonio, Texas. This involved an assessment of existing <br />transportation conditions and demand estimation for travel <br />through the year 2000. Based on analyses of existing <br />and projected roadway deficiencies, a 20 year plan for <br />needed highway and street improvements was developed and <br />adopted. It still serves as San Antonio's long range <br />highway plan. <br /> <br />Socioeconomic and Demographic Studies <br /> <br />o Served as Principal Investigator for the McAllen-Pharr- <br />Alamo Transportation Planning Study. The study involved <br />developing population projections and socio-economic fore- <br />casts for the McAllen-Pharr-Edinburg SMSA. These will <br />serve as input to the year 2000 long range transportation <br />plan for the area. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Developed the <br />dwelling unit <br />2005, in five <br />information to <br /> <br />San Antonio/Bexar County population and <br />distribution for the years 1985 through <br />year increments. These variables provide <br />various planning projects. <br /> <br />o Generated the socia-economic and demographic input to <br />the twenty year long range transportation plan for th,e <br />Randolph Region. Live Oak, Universal City, Selma, Schertz, <br />Cibolo, Converse and Randolph Air Force Base comprise <br />this area. <br />
