Primarily used as a <br /> laundry facility for Gary Job Corps Center until it was <br /> destroyed by fire in spring of 1986. Plans for <br /> reconstruction or demolition of remains are not known. <br /> h) Building #7-355 - Approximate age early 50's, large single <br /> story, brick and steel in structure. Exterior condition <br /> fair to poor. Primarily used to teach brick and stone <br /> masonry. <br /> i) Building #7-358 - Approximate age early 40's, single story, <br /> all wooden in structure, poor exterior condition, all <br /> windows are boarded up. Primarily used as a music facility, <br /> it appears to no longer be in use. <br /> j) Building #9-354 - Approximate age early 50's, large aircraft <br /> maintenance hangar, approximately 180' x 180'. Exterior <br /> fair. Used for classrooms and shops for various causes. <br /> k) Building #8-357 - Drivers training supervisory tower. Frame <br /> construction. Age unknown. <br /> I) Buildings #10-357 and #10-358 - Heavy equipment repair. <br /> Metal frame and exterior. Used to repair and maintain Job <br /> Corp equipment, and for training students in heavy <br /> equiprent. <br /> m) A drivers training course layout painted on the aircraft <br /> apron. <br />
