Surcharges payable under this paragraph shall <br />become due monthly after the effective date of this <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />All flow rates, BOD, COD and SS values used in determination <br />of the surcharge of major wastewater customers shall be <br />reevaluated on an annual basis and shall be adjusted to <br />reflect any increase or decrease in wastewater treatment <br />costs based on the previous years experience. However, if <br />there is a major change in the operation to cause changes in <br />value, the values may be increased or decreased during the <br />calendar year based on a study of changes or actual <br />measurements. <br /> <br />Removal Credits. Any industry wishing to apply for removal <br />credit as described in Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations <br />Part 403 may do so provided they assume responsibility for <br />all costs incurred including those by ~he City and state <br />this responsibility to the Director in writing. Any removal <br />credit granted shall be in accordance with the procedures <br />set forth in Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 403, <br />or as amended. <br /> <br />It shall be the responsibility of any person discharging <br />industrial waste into a sanitary sewer to furnish the <br />Director with drawings or plans and specifications in such <br />detail as he may require to determine if any pretreatment <br />structure planned by the person, or in use by the person, is <br />suitable for the purpose intended. However, the approval of <br />plans by the Director will in no way relieve a person of the <br />responsibility for modifying the structure once constructed <br />as necessary to produce an effluent acceptable to the <br />Director under the terms of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />SEC. 30-66. Chemical Disclosure, Classified Data and Confidential <br />Information. <br /> <br />( 1) <br /> <br />Any person not otherwise exempted under Section 30-64 shall <br />file with the Director a listing of all chemicals and <br />compounds included under Sec. 30-61 stored, used, processed <br />or transported to or from any location within the City. <br />Lists shall include the chemical name, chemical composition <br />and common name (if any) and name of manufacturer, including <br />those chemicals not subject to discharge or pretreatment as <br />described in any other section of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />-17- <br />
