<br />1.6.8 <br /> <br />Detailed mill, shop and/or laboratory inspection of materials <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />equipment <br /> <br />not <br /> <br />covered <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />routine <br /> <br />shop <br /> <br />drawing <br /> <br />submittals <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />laboratory tests. <br /> <br />1.6.9 <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />provided <br /> <br />after <br /> <br />Owner's <br /> <br />final <br /> <br />acceptance <br /> <br />of the <br /> <br />Project or authorization of final payment to contractor. <br /> <br />1.6.10 <br /> <br />Contracting for soils testing. <br /> <br />1.6.11 <br /> <br />Construction Layout services. <br /> <br />1. 6.12 <br /> <br />Field <br /> <br />surveys <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />collect <br /> <br />topographic <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />right-of-way <br /> <br />information <br /> <br />required for design, including photogrammetry, and related <br /> <br />office computations and drafting. <br /> <br />1.6.13 <br /> <br />Boundary <br /> <br />survey, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />establishment <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />boundaries <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />monuments. <br /> <br />1.6.14 <br /> <br />Preparation of property or easement descriptions. <br /> <br />1.6.15 <br /> <br />Providing <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />other services not otherwise included in this <br /> <br />Agreement or not customarily furnished in accordance with the <br /> <br />standard <br /> <br />of care exhibited by large, national engineering firms. <br /> <br />1.7 <br /> <br />TIME <br /> <br />1.7.1 <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />Engineer <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />submit to the Owner within 120 calendar <br /> <br />days of the execution of this contract, the final construction contract <br /> <br />documents, plans and specifications, and detailed cost <br /> <br />estimates. <br /> <br />As <br /> <br />used herein the term "final" construction contract documents, plans and <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />be interpreted to mean the construction contract <br /> <br />documents, plans and specifications as reviewed and finally approved by <br /> <br />the Owner. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br /> <br />THE OWNER1S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />2.1 <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />Owner <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />provide <br /> <br />full <br /> <br />information <br /> <br />regarding <br /> <br />requirements <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />project{s). <br /> <br />Such <br /> <br />information <br /> <br />may include a <br /> <br />program, <br /> <br />\.vhich <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />set <br /> <br />forth <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Owner's <br /> <br />design <br /> <br />objectives, <br /> <br />constraints <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />criteria, <br /> <br />including <br /> <br />space <br /> <br />requirements <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />relationships, flexibility and <br /> <br />expandability, <br /> <br />special <br /> <br />equipment <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />~ystems and site requirements. <br /> <br />2.2 <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />Owner shall designate a representative authorized to act <br /> <br />in the Owner's behalf with respect to the project{s). <br /> <br />The Owner and/or <br /> <br />such authorized representative shall examine the documents submitted by <br /> <br />-9- <br />
