<br />this Agreement, and compensation shall be in addition <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />specified <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />basic <br /> <br />services. <br /> <br />Compensation <br /> <br />for additional <br /> <br />services shall be in accordance with <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />13.2.1 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Additional <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />include <br /> <br />but <br /> <br />not <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />limited to the following potential work items. <br /> <br />1.6.1 <br /> <br />Making revisions in plans, specifications <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />when <br /> <br />such <br /> <br />revisions <br /> <br />are <br /> <br />inconsistent <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />written <br /> <br />approvals <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />instructions previously g~ven or are <br /> <br />due <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />causes <br /> <br />not <br /> <br />solely <br /> <br />within the control of the Engineer. <br /> <br />1.6.2 <br /> <br />Additional <br /> <br />copies <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />drawings, <br /> <br />specifications, and other <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />than <br /> <br />those provided for in paragraph 1.3.1 hereof as a part of Basic Services. <br /> <br />1.6.3 <br /> <br />Preparation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />applications <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />necessary <br /> <br />highway and <br /> <br />railroad right-of-way permits and highway and railroad crossing permits. <br /> <br />1.6.4 <br /> <br />Preparation and issuance of Addenda made necessary <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />Owner's <br /> <br />requested <br /> <br />changes <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />modifications which are inconsistent with written <br /> <br />approvals or instructions previously given or are due to other causes not <br /> <br />solely within Engineer's control. <br /> <br />1.6.5 <br /> <br />Resident Project Representation beyond that provided as a <br /> <br />part <br /> <br />of Basic Services. <br /> <br />1.6.6 <br />1.6.7 <br /> <br />Performance of surveys. <br />Providing any other services not otherwise included in this <br /> <br />Agreement or not customarily furnished in accordance with the highest <br />standards of the engineering profession. <br /> <br />1.7 <br /> <br />TIME <br /> <br />1.7.1 <br /> <br />Subject to Owner1s review and approval of the schematic <br /> <br />design <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />within <br /> <br />ten (10) days after submission of the same to Owner by <br /> <br />Engineer, the Engineer shall submit to the Owner within 100 calendar days <br /> <br />of the execution <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />contract, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />final <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents, <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications. <br /> <br />As used herein the term IIfinalll <br /> <br />::onstruction <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents, <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />lnterpreted <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />mean <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />contract documents, plans and <br /> <br />3pecifications as reviewed and finally approved by the <br /> <br />Owner. <br /> <br />For <br /> <br />each <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />after <br /> <br />such la-day period that the Owner takes to review and approve <br /> <br />the schematic design documents, the lOa-calendar day period (within which <br /> <br />-8- <br />
