<br /> (4) When any person is engaged in the business of <br /> hauling such liquefied petroleum or natural gas <br /> products or other flammable or combustible liquids, <br /> or hazardous chemicals or other dangerous articles, <br /> and has its place of business within the corporate <br /> 1 imi ts of the city, such person shall have a right <br /> to convey such truck, motor vehicle or trailer <br /> described in subsection (1) to such place of <br /> business without fire or police protection, provided <br /> such vehicle (excluding its own tank or receptacle <br /> used for its own propulsion) is empty and free of <br /> all such liquefied petroleum, or natural gas <br /> products, or other flammable or combustible liquids. <br /> e. Section 20.14 is hereby amended to add subsection (c) <br /> which shall read as follows: <br /> Section 20.14. Motor Vehicle Transportation of Hazardous <br /> Chemicals and Other Dangerous Articles. <br /> . .. <br /> c. Restrictions regarding the transportation, parking, <br /> and gara:]ing of motor vehicles containing hazardous <br /> chemicals or other dangerous articles are set forth in <br /> Section 16.99 of this Code. <br /> to Section 21.10 (a) and (b) is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Section 21.10. Transportation, Parking and Gara:]ing of <br /> Vehicles Used to Carry LP-Gas Cargo. <br /> a. This section applies to the transportation, parking, <br /> including parking associated with a liquid transfer <br /> operation), and gara:] ing of vehicles used for the <br /> transportation of LP-Gas. SUch vehicles include those used <br /> to carry portable containers and those used to carry <br /> LP-Gas in cargo tanks. <br /> b. Vehicles carrying or containing, or used for carrying <br /> or containing, LP-Gas, being operated, parked out-of-doors <br /> or parked or garaged in any building shall comply with the <br /> following. <br /> (1) Tank vehicles shall not be parked or garaged in <br /> any buildings other than those specifically <br /> approved in writing for such use by the Chief of <br /> the Bureau of Fire Prevention. <br /> (2) Further restrictions regarding the transportation, <br /> parking and gara:]ing of vehicles carrying or <br /> containing, LP-Gas are set forth in Section 16.99 <br /> of this Code. <br /> (Subsection (3) of Section 21.10(b) is hereby deleted.) <br /> g. Section 28.16 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 28.16. Fire Lanes and Fire Zones on Private <br /> Property, Devoted to Public Use. <br /> a. The marking of fire lanes and fire zones on private <br /> property, devoted to public use, shall be as approved <br /> by the Fire Marshal and the Chief of Fblice. <br /> b. Parking of motor vehicles or otherwise obstructing fire <br /> lanes or fire zones shall be prohibited at all times. <br /> c. The Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, their designees, City of <br /> San Marcos Inspectors, and all law enforcement officers <br />
