providing an effective date. <br />1 LConsider approval of Ordinance 2014 -08, on the second of two readings, amending <br />Chapter 62, Article 3, Division 1, Section 62.187 of the San Marcos City Code to <br />authorize the payment of assignment pay in the amount of $300 per month for any Fire <br />Department personnel assigned by the Fire Chief as Support Services Officer or <br />Training Coordinator; providing a savings clause; providing for the repeal of any <br />conflicting provisions; and providing an effective date. <br />12.Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -09, on the second of two readings, amending the <br />City's 2013 -2014 Fiscal Year Budget to eliminate one Captain Position and add one <br />Battalion Chief Position in the San Marcos Fire Department; and providing an effective <br />date. <br />13.Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -10, on the second of two readings, amending the <br />City's 2013 -2014 Fiscal Year Budget to create a new personnel position to maintain the <br />City's Enterprise Financial, Human Resources and Payroll Software and the position of <br />Building Construction Manager; amending the City's 2013 -2014 Fiscal Year Budget to <br />authorize the expenditure of funds in the amount of $78,681.00 for such personnel; and <br />providing an effective date. <br />14.Consider approval of Ordinance 2014 -11, on the second of two readings, amending the <br />City's 2013 -2014 Fiscal Year Budget to authorize the expenditure of funds in the <br />amount of $60,500.00 for the demolition of the former Army Reserve Building on <br />Hopkins Street across from the City Hall; and providing an effective date. <br />15.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -20R, approving a first amendment to a <br />Supplemental Electric Service Agreement with Texas State University for the purpose of <br />modifying the definition of a Delivery Point to accommodate underground Electric <br />Facilities; authorizing the City Manager to execute such amendment on behalf of the <br />City; and, declaring an effective date. <br />16.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -21R, authorizing the temporary closure of <br />portions of Hopkins Guadalupe, MLK, Edward Gary, San Antonio and LBJ streets on <br />Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the Criterium Bicycle Race and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />17.Consider approval of Resolution 2014 -22R, approving the purchase of two Chevrolet <br />Caprices (PPV) for the Community Services Department in the total amount of <br />$56,096.00 from Caldwell Country Chevrolet through the Texas Local Government <br />
