Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard Contract for vehicles, heavy duty trucks and options <br />(Contract #430 -13); authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the <br />appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather, and a second by Council Member <br />Scott, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the consent agenda <br />with the exception of item 8 and 10 which were considered separately. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />(8) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott, and a second by Council <br />Member Becak, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve <br />Resolution 2014 -05, as previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />(10) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides, and a second by Council <br />Member Becak, the City Council voted six (6) for and one (1) opposed, Council Member Scott, <br />to approve Resolution 2014 -07, as previously captioned. The motion carried. <br />Public Hearing <br />18.7:OOPM Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for <br />or against Ordinance 2014 -12, amending the Official Zoning May of the City by <br />rezoning a 0.98 acre, more or less, tract of land, being Lot 20A of the Millview Addition, <br />located at 117 Meiners Street, from "P" Public and Institutional District to "MU" <br />Mixed Use District; and including procedural provision; and consider approval of <br />Ordinance 2014 -12, on the first of two readings. <br />Kristy Stark, Assistant Director of Planning and Development Services, provided Council with a <br />presentation regarding the rezoning of a tract of land in the located at 117 Meiners Street. <br />Following the Staff presentation Mayor Guerrero opened the public hearing at approximately <br />7 :03 p.m. <br />Jason Howell, 212 San Antonio, addressed the Council in support of this change in zoning and it <br />is a great use. <br />Mark Mayhew, real estate agent representing the Church, spoke in favor of this rezoning. <br />There being no further comments.
