Law and Order <br /> Be responsible for police services within the City <br /> including law enforcement, traffic control and the <br /> protection of lives and property. Insure policy <br /> personnel are trained and equipment 1S available <br /> for radiological monitoring. Dispatch ambulances <br /> and wreckers. Assist 1n damage assessment. <br /> 2. Fire Protection <br /> Be responsible for the use of fire department personnel, <br /> volunteers and equipment to control all types of fires. <br /> Prepare SOP's on fire fighting operations. <br /> 3. Communications <br /> Be responsible for the conununications centers which will <br /> provide voice link between their respective EOC's City <br /> services, general public, operating teams or agenc1es, <br /> other cities, counties, districts, State and Federal <br /> agenc1es. Prepare a communications plan as Annex B to <br /> this plan and SOP on, conununications. <br /> 4. Warning <br /> Be responsible for receiving all types of warning <br /> (nuclear attack, weather, or other), and for disseminating <br /> these warning messages as required for maximum protection <br /> of citizens in the City within. Prepare SOP's to cover <br /> these responsibilities. Prepare a warning plan as Annex A <br /> to this plan. <br /> 5. Public lvorks <br /> a. Engineering <br /> b. Streets <br /> c. Water <br /> 6. Have mutual aid with other agencies. <br />
