Hopkins <br /> San fv1arcos, Texas 78666 <br /> Re: Mill Street Phase II Contract <br /> Document Preparation <br /> Dear George: <br /> The purpose of this letter agreement is to outline the scope <br /> of services for the above-referenced project in accordance <br /> with our June 13, 1984, meeting in San Marcos. Our scope of <br /> work will be as follows: <br /> 1. Prepare contract documents (with Texas Department of <br /> Community Affairs documents) and construction <br /> specifications for the above-referenced project. <br /> 2. Revise plans to do construction from station 32 + 20 to <br /> 43 + 00. <br /> 3. Revise plans with the deletion of all riprap and <br /> culverts at the railroad crossing. <br /> 4. Add to the Plans an 8" pipe bored and jacked under the <br /> railroad crossing to drain ponded water on a temporary <br /> basis. <br /> 5. Answer questions during the bidding. <br /> 6. Assist in opening bids and awarding a contract, <br /> including recommendation on award. <br /> 7. Review pay estimates for the Contractor. <br /> 8. Obtain any permit required from the railroad to bore and <br /> jack under their tracks. <br /> 9. Change the cover sheet for the new scope of the project <br /> as well as adding "Texas Department of Community <br /> Affairs" grant number. <br />
