work to be done, for the OWNER1S account, as set forth in Article 5, paragraph 5.4. 3.3 PHASE 2, DESIGN Upon receipt of the OWNER1S written authorization to implement Phase 2 and to proceed with final design and preparation of contract drawings and specifications, the CONSULTANT shall: 3.3.1 Establish the scope and advise the OWNER of any soil and foundation investigations, or of other special surveys and tests which, in the opinion of the CONSULTANT, may be required for design; and when authorized by the OWNER, arrange for such work to be done, for the OWNER'S account, as set forth in Article 5, paragraph 5.3 and 5.4. 3.3.2 Furnish to the OWNER, where required by the circumstan- ces of the assignment, the engineering data necessary for applications for routine permits required by local, state, and federal authorities. 3.3.3 Prepare detailed contract drawings on drafting vellum or mylar film, and/or photographic reproducible mylar film, and prepare the specification and Contract Documents for construction of the PROJECT. 3.3.4 Whenever preparation of detailed plans is complete the CONSULTANT shall: (a) Furni sh three (3) copies of all contract drawings to the OWNER and two (2) copies of all contract drawi ngs to the Federal Aviation Administration for preliminary review and comments. (b) Present a statement of the CONSULTANT1S opinion on con- struction costs, updated to relate to the design de- veloped at the time. (c) Attend a conference with representatives of the OWNER to present and discuss the details of the proposed improvements. (d) Attend a conference with representatives of the Federal Aviation Administration to present and discuss the de- tails of the proposed improvements. (e) Upon completion of the review conferences, the CONSUL- TANT will make approved modifications and additions to the contract drawings resulting from OWNER1S and the Federa 1 Aviation Administration1s review and the con- ference.
